Until the end of this month … what seems to have been the longest May on record … I drive a 140PS Diesel Ford. On the 1st June I collect my nice new Superb 160PS 1.8T worth over 10 times the price of the Ford. All the other details on my insurance and even the insurance company stay exactly the same, all apart from the cost …. that went down !

Just in the process of renewing mine at the moment, £350 for me this time round. Was a lot more till I spoke to them on the phone and they lopped £100 off the renewal figure.

You're lucky... mine went up... by a whole £2.00

Just a shame there's the admin fee!!

Admin fees .... true. If I add in the cost of changing the policy it actually went up £7.30

Still on the plus side there is no charge for green cards any more :yes:
