As mentioned in Scuff's thread, I spent Friday at Kirby Hall in Northamptonshire, attending an architectural photo workshop, It was a great day, and I learned some new stuff and re-learned some old stuff. Here are some of the results!

Some nice ones there Phil emoticon-0148-yes.gif

Sounds like a good day out :)

:)

I really like the open door shot :) :)

Did you do much PP with the levels of the interiors? or in camera expansion etc?

I love the open door shot, but it was Martine, the tutor, who pointed it out.

I've done no PP at all on those shots -apart from the "graffiti" one, which was over the Flikr 15Mb limit and had to be reduced a it. They were all tripod shots at around f11 in aperture priority, so I could use looooong exposures. One of the points they made on the day was to slow down, take your time and get it right -buildings don't go anywhere, just light.

I think I could get more out of the shots if I put some PP time into them -but time is the one thing I never have much of!

I sadly lack the imagination to create/envisage shots like the door, but at least I can get enjoyment from seeing others do so :)

Pleasing set of pics, well done.
