Can you advise on 3 Fault Codes Please

Featured Replies

The 'Engine' light has just come on the dash of my 2006 PD140 DSG - and the manual says it is to do with the Exhaust System. I have read the fault codes and they are:

COC65

CO2B3

COC66

Have searched for these codes but can not find any information.

Can anyone advise what these actually mean and the likely parts failure.

The car seems to be running fine at the moment.

Not sure what code reader you are using, but you are probably best off contacting the supplier - if they provide after sales support, as they are not like 'normal' DTC's.

yeh those codes are not general codes mate.

The fault codes are in hex. They translate to 03173, 00619, 03174.

Problem is that these codes only appear with cheap chinese code readers when they fail to read the codes correctly.

I'd get the car scanned with VCDS emoticon-0148-yes.gif

Skoda Assist have just taken the car away, luckily I took a 2 year extended warranty, which runs till mid July, as apparently it needs a 'New Motor V-157' as it has shorted to earth and blew a fuse.

Something to do with emission control? but the Skoda Assist guy said it would have cost about £500 to fix - more than the warranty cost so will be looking to take another one out when this expires in July

IIRC, V157 is the Inlet Manifold Flap
