Puddle light

Featured Replies

Hi all,

The passenger side led puddle light has gone in my MK1. How do you change the bulb? Or, is this a sign of the dreaded water ingress? Mirror still opening/closing etc and no other signs of water problems.

Any advice greatly appreciated...

Cheers,

Rob

Happened to me but was water ingress to offside mirror. Fuse blew too.

Thanks for that. Where is the fuse for that and how did you change the bulb? How does the water get into the mirror housing?

Thanks,

I spoke to Skoda as my drivers one is out, they said that the led was a full unit and costs around £56 to replace. Does anyone know if they are fixable?

cheers

Tom

Not sure exactly as dealer diagnosed. I can't recall fuse number but covered a Number of items. Not much help I am afraid.
