Top Gear have just put a list of the 20 rarest cars in the UK.....

Skoda Estelle appears, with only 14 left on UK roads.........

I expect our very own Dave Rapide owns those!

They're still everywhere in CZ. My in-laws-to-be have two alone in the barn. One for youngest son to get around in, the other in case he breaks something.

There's a guy near here who has an Estelle and a Mk.0 Octavia (if it's on the road it must be rarer than the Estelle).

Estelles/Rapids are pretty rare now but I know for a fact there are more than fourteen. I've got eight and storing one for a friend and I get several others come to me for MOT's and repairs.

I believe the figures are for vehicles taxed/mot'd.

I was going to mention dave's cars. I'm sure there are more than 14. I wouldn't trust Top Gear for journalistic accuracy anyway! I wouldn't mind and Estelle myself. Passed up serveral times

I would take a rough guess that 14 is the total of Estelle Mk1's (the chrome bumper models).

There's a similar site here that shows how many cars of each make and model are still registered.
