The wifes 07 vRS let us down for the first time.

After a short spell of poor runing/starting it conked out at the side of the road. RAC Man plugs in his PC, fault comes up as Cam Shaft sensor. He disconected sensor and got car running then followed wife to our local garage, who also pluged his PC into the car and came up with the same fault. New sensor ordered and now fitted, car still not runing wright and still a bit dour to start. Car was spot on before !! It's going back in to the garage next week.

Any ideas ??

Sorry I just edited my post it was the Cam shaft sensor.

As to your question cam belt has not been changed yet,but it will to be done shortly, it's just past the 50K.
