Issue with electric window switch

I was driving my mother's 2001 Fabia this afternoon. Having lowered the drivers's side window I couldn't raise it again, the switch did nothing when lifted into the up position.  After 'playing' with the switch I did manage to raise the window, the motor seems fine, the issue seems to be contact within the actual switch. 

How easy is it to remove the switch panel? If it's simply a poor electrical contact can it be cleaned or do I need a new switch, and if so, where is the best place to get a new one?
