rough at idle

lads ...i have a small prob...that need some input..my 1.2 3 cyl htp is running very roughly at idle.approx 800..almost like its about to stall....however as the revs rise this dissapears and the car has loads of power..and seems economical on fuel..i think it seems worse when the car has been drivin for a while...any ideas?

My be worth getting a diagnostic check done on it

A few sensors can cause that issue

Could be cam posision sensor , throttle posision sensors

The cam chains are an issue on these too

get it checked out

Hello, we have an issue we can't seem to get on top of. We own a Fabia Combi Mk2 from late 2008 with a 1.4l petrol engine with a Tatarini LNG unit that's functional but we don't drive on LNG anymore. It's been ours for about 4.5 years now, an incredible car, drives silent and muuuch smoother than much newer cars like our companies' 2020 Dusters for example. We've gotten it close to 180k km on the clock, but I'd say even compared to less driven Skoda's from the 2000s it seems to be significantly

Ok so ive heard lots about the timing chain needing to be checked and or replaced at 60k / 80k miles... mine is at 59k and still sounds lovely even on a cold start, do I listen for early signs or just replace anyway? and it would be interesting to see how many of you have changed it anyway or is it just a certain batch of cars which had issues ? mine has full history of services from day one and the previous owner took good care of it too and I intend to do the same. Thanks all!

The Veritate wheels on my Superb have limited access between the spokes, so cleaning the barrel and behind the spokes is a chore but possible with the right selection of brushes and woolies. BUT ... the numbnuts that designed the wheel added a 'gutter' around the barrel just behind the spokes. It collects a pool of rainwater when parked and is a magnet for brake dust and tar. Getting into the gutter to clean it is almost impossible - I can't even reach it all with my fingertips and a wheel mi

Hi Folks, I don't know what had happened. I got the screen washer problem last and the pump just delivered. Hello, I'm new to the forums and like most people, I'm here because I've come up against something that has me stumped! I have a 2018 Karoq, with a MIB2 Amundsen head unit. Currently using the latest official maps available on an original 16GB SD Card. At some point (not sure when but let's say over the past 2-3 months), the car has stopped receiving RDS-TMC traffic events. There is also a red diagonal line running through 'TMC', which suggests there is some problem with
