Adding parking assist to a Skoda Yei

Featured Replies

Hi All ;

I have just bought a Skoda Yeti to my wife ,and this is here first car and I think parking assist can help here a lot in the crowded streets of istanbul.

We do have rear parking sensors now.

Is it possible to add parking assist for an existing Yeti?

And do any one know what I should order?

best regards

Mertol

Hi and welcome,

my best guess would be if it was possible then the cost would be very high. The controller for the park assist is different to that for just rear sensors, then you have the wiring harness and sensors for the front. Your current Yeti would also need Maxidot and a park assist compatible ESP system.

Hope that's of some help,

TP

Hi,

congrats on your new car,

the parking assist systems works with parking sensors, but also the system needs additional system which turns the steering wheel based on information coming through sensors. so it's not likely to add this system if its not bought in first place.

just to be sure, you can check from Yüce oto, if this is possible somehow

I hope this helps
