hi lads need some advice on my octavia. i have a 05 octavia 1.9tdi(old shape) ,with engine code alh. my gearbox is in need of changing. i have an option to get a 00 octavia 1.9tdi gearbox(same engine code). but when i inspected the box i found that the only diffrence was the selector unit on top of the box. the seletor on the 00 if a bit taller than mine. however it does bolt off and i was wondering if the selector could be swapped around so that my old selector could be put onto the 00 box. any response would be great...thanks
