On a tight budget, so what would be the best way of improving the suspension. Stiffening and lowering an option, want to get rid of body roll, but ideally not too harsh a ride.

get some better springs. eibach ones lower the car 30mm and are designed for use with the standard shocks.

what about upgraded anti roll bars??

If you want to retain the ride comfort then uprate the roll bars.
