BIG PROBLEM BATTER ?

Featured Replies

hey there i came across a very unusual problem before, i drove to my gfs house, left the car outside, jumped back in it 1 hour later and turn the ignition on, everything light up fine but then when i go to turn the key again there was no noise what so ever!! not turning over and nothing, but all my electrics where working still??

so i thought id try the jump leads as a long shot as everything else was working, and as soon as i put them on it fired up fine

needs a new battery

needs a new battery

sometimes the car beeps 3 times mainly when i turn on the spot and abs, handbrake and asr light flash 3 times, and to a certain extent sopmetimes turns my powersteering off, and why would all my electrics still work

electrics pull very little voltage. To start the engine/car or even crank it pulls huge amounts.

Charge the battery and use a multimeter whilst its charging. If it shows anything less than 12.5v then the battery is fubar.

thanks for the advice mate, would the pabs light and all them flash, could that be caused by this low battery?
