Hi, Does anyone know the correct wire positions for the radio in skoda fabia, I think someone has swopped mine around because my radio stays live with the key out. How do you remove the pins from the plug? Thanks

Is it the factory fit radio, or a after market one?

If the latter, just swap the red and yellow wires over

The radio was removed when I bought the car but I think was a aftermarket dvd thing.

I am trying to fit a Skoda Tape/radio Music system 201 which works but does not turn off.

The black power plug has no red or yellow wires.

Also how do you remove the wires from the plug, I removed the yellow piece but could'nt get them to release.

There is a thick brown wire and the rest are alot thinner...

Thanks for your help.

This worked for me.

To remove a PIN, grab the flat blade with a thin nosed pair of pliers and push, mine just fell out.

To remove a receptacle (to give it it's correct name) use a thin jewellers screwdriver from Pound Shop and push it down the BACK of the receptacle, not the sides, pulling the wire out at the same time.

ISO Pins and Receptacles can be obtained from www.nexxia.co.uk

Might be advisable to remove the fuse before you disconnect wiring from the plug as one wire is permanantly alive.

ISO Pins are Part No. M-50-1, Receptacles are M-55-1
