Just went to Tesco and they were giving vouchers for 5p per litre if 2 X £3.99 toilet rolls are bought.

Saved me £2.20, would save you more if you have a 80 + litre tank!

Yes. that is a good deal

Remember though, the more fuel in your tank the heavier your car is and the more fuel you use!!!!

I only fill mine up to 1/2 and I recon it's more fuel efficient. (carrying around less weight)

Do you make your passengers walk as well? I reckon 50l of fuel weighs about the same as a 12 year old

1 litre is roughly 1kg so for example my new vRS (when it arrives) has a 45 litre tank - approx 45 - 50kg of fuel. So yes, roughly a small adult, fat kid

The more efficient it is with 1/2 will be outweighed with the additional trips to the pumps, plus it would meant a fill up every 2 days for me, full tank all the way lol

Shall have to tell my bride about the bog roll offer. Mind you she seems to buy in bulk when offers are on which always prompts me to ask if she is expecting an outbreak of dysentery. :moon:

I can see the point but personally id much rather carry the equivalent of a small child onboard for a few days of the week its actually full than be running it low and risk dragging tank debris through the injectors. :yes:
