Coding a new Bosch ABS/ASR/EDL unit

Featured Replies

As per title;

I will be getting a new Bosch ABS/ASR/EDL unit for my 2001 Fabia 1.4lt 16v AUB engine. I have a "Memoscan" reader which also allows me access to adaptation and coding blocks in all the items inc engine ecu, abs, steering, can gateway etc. etc.

I have had a look at the Ross-tech wiki site and can confirm that the block numbers seem to be the same (well it is the same protocol) and from what I can find out I need to entry a new code number based on the 5 speed transmission, airbags, abs, and data....so a code of 00013 needs to be entered??? Do I also need to do anything else??? :S

P.S. I don't have the coding from the old unit as this is FUBAR (it has been tested by BBA-reman) and the ecu can not be read!!!
