Eml light

Featured Replies

Is there an easy way to reset it, problem isnt there but light persists?

Something about starting 10 times?

Can you knock it off by taking the battery off for a while?

the obvious route is clearing codes with diagnostic kit...not sure of another way..

it may go off the dash after a few dozen restarts but will always be in the memory unless cleared with a reader

Light must be there for a reason no? Once the fault code is read and cleared there should be no EML any more (unless the fault returns)

Yup fault returned but ive got to the bottom of it!

Ebay rad fan relay! Pile of crud!

Awaiting new one but was wondering if eml will turn itself off when all is hunky dorey....

It should go of by itself after it's learned the fault isn't there anymore.

Sometimes yes.

My EML was on due to one of the glow plugs so I changed them all and it still remained on so I bought a code reader in the end
