Faulty drivers folding mirror

Featured Replies

I have very recently carried out the recification work on the wiring on the car and now have fully functioning interior lights (at last  )

Still have a problem with my drivers side folding mirror. It will fold in OK but when they are folded back out, the motor appears to keep running so that when it stops, the mirror is loose (almost as if its gone past its click stop). When it is folded in again, the motor keeps running for longer than the passenger one but gets its tension back again.

Can anyone give any advice or do I just accept it is shagged and look for a replacement (can see the pound signs now :'( )

Cheers in advance
