I have a FL 2010 Octavia. Has any one ever examined the AC radiator on their car? Mine seems to be disintegrating in than some of the fine fins are falling out. I am going to get it to local dealer for investigation. Could be design fault.

I had that happen to a Saab once. But at that stage it was ten years old. I could rub my finger along the fins and it turned to dust. Started leaking very soon after and needed a new radiator. - Warranty claim for you I should think.

The fins on mine are brittle as hell. Just put my finger on a couple and they bent straight in. I looked through the lower grill and it looks like its been at a shooting range with holes all over the shop where the fins should be.

I presume they are designed like this so would not worry.

Will keep an eye on mine!
