Stretched Parada's

Featured Replies

I've heard Paradas are really wide and don't stretch well which is what I'm hoping.

Compared to a Toyo T1-R how 'wide' are Parada's?

I want to stretch a 205/40/17 over a 8J wheel. Has anyone got any photos of this being done?

I had them on 7.5j and they just look normal.

Its not that they are wide they just have a very stiff sidewall (which incedentally makes them poo in the wet when "pushing on")

Hmmm, so hopefully it should look perfect on a 8J. A little bit of stretch. :)

Ross had different tyres on his 7.5J's and he had quite a bit of stretch but after fitting Parada's he said they looked normal (like yours) so I'm hoping Parada's are wide and don't look stupidly stretched over a 8J. I checked on tyrestretch.com and it looked really stupid so I'm praying it looks OK with Parada's. :)

Any other photos?

They have a really square profile. I wanted them on my D90`s but everyone told me they dont stretch well so i avoided them and got T1 R`s. However, if they can stretch a bit then i`d fancy getting some

I think they have more contact area on the road compared to T1-R's. Hopefully...

If they are comfortable on a 7.5j, then they should be ok for the 8j with a bit of stretch.

Worst case scenario, if they don't work, sell them on and get a set of T1Rs

Try them on and if you dont like them ill have them :-)

I run 215/40/17 on my octy spiders

While they are clearly stretched in that picture, they don't look that extreme.
