Standard Vs Milltek Exhaust...

Featured Replies

Had my Fabia fitted with Milltek exhaust today at Star Performace - lovely job, well pleased and highly recommended.

For those who were looking for comparisons between the two in sound and looks, I've posted a video on the thread Milltek Exhaust sound or should be able to get it here (in WMV format within a ZIP, about 1Mb)

Had a switchable remap done at the same time, had a nice drive back from Fife today :D

The Dual System is very nice ;)

Definitely sounds better, a bit deeper... can still tell its a diesel though IMHO.

Whats it sound like from inside the cabin?

will we see it at KNOCKHILL.

Yip, it'll always sound like a diesel I s'pose, but when your at motorway speed, inside the cabin you dont hear the clattery engine noise but you do get a really nice sporty pitch from the exhaust when accelerating. Got some comments from passengers tonight at the sound it made, its not overbearing noisy though which is good.

At slower speeds inside the cabin you wouldn't really tell the difference, only when your pulling away or accelerating when you can hear the whistle of the turbo spinning up.

When sitting still and revving the owl tweeeeet-twooooo noise is very cool :D

I'll be at the VAG Knockhill trackday next month so I can take it above 70 for the first time ;-) Come av a look and listen if you like

I am still getting over that laughing noise the exhaust makes when you accelerate away

No really though, does sound a lot better...

But... I think it looks 100x better

Thanks for making the effort to post the little vid! your a star, sounds like an 80s rally car to me which is no bad thing.
