ive just brought a brand new VRS estate DSG with multi function steering wheel for phone etc, the dealer has said that i need the fiscon phone system in order to make my mobile work with the bluetooth, is this right or is he trying to get even more money out of me ? or does the fiscon system just make the radio phone function work etc ?

Did you order bluetooth from the dealer? If not then I beleive he is right as Fiscon is bluetooth connectivity.

Ive got the bluetooth and telephone function for multi function steering wheel, well that what my invoice says!

Prepare to be disappointed then. Unless you ordered bluetooth, all you will have is a steering wheel with buttons on for the phone control... You still need either the OEM bluetooth module or a fiscon unit to use them. I'd go OEM now, but when I got my car the OEM kit didn't support the handsfree profile and my phone didn't support rSAP..

I collected my car today and im pleased to say it has the bluetooth function and my BB Torch connects to it with ease and i can read my new text messages when they arrive too :-) the skoda garage admin muck up and i got the bodywork F1 protection for free too as i told them to take it off the bill as i didnt want it and they forgot to tell them, so multi function steering wheel and F1 protection all FREE!!!!!

Im now a happy VRS owner :-) car is fantastic too!!

The multi function steering wheel is standard on the vRS with DSG...

Looks like you did order the correct things then as you got your bluetooth module too. Now enjoy the car
