V Maxx coilover height adjustment

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

Just had this set fitted by a garage - I'm a noob when it comes to this sort of thing!

How do I adjust the height of car myself? I've got a tool for height adjustment but I have no idea which part to adjust?

Thanks

Dont know in particular the vmax version but you should have been supplied a c spanner and on the actual damper it will have two adjustment rings one adjusts the height the other locks it off. Jack the car up,to get easy access, adjusting them up and locking it will lower the car be sure that you work out some sort of system to show how many rotations you have made so you can adjust all dampers the same ie : mark the ring to see rotations.

Hope that helps

Tip use tipex

I just use the tiny little screw that keeps it from moving by it's self to remember lol

Another thing I forgot to ask, the mechanic that did the work said the top of the coil overs were different to the standard ones, something he hadn't seen before? They were adjustable so he just set them up in the middle. Any ideas what this might have been?

Adjustable top mounts to adjust camber at a guess?
