As per title has anyone ever hardwired the unit below the window motor on a octavia vrs and done away with the big plug?

only reason i ask is becasue mine has broken off 3 pins and i cant get one from the local breakers and i am concidering removing the loom plug and removing the circuit from the box and hardwiring everything together?

ok well i just went for it and hardwired the loom to the circuit and i am pleased to say all is now working i still have to do all the building back up im just waiting on some sealer to dry to keep it water tight.

I will use this a quick fix until i get a new unit and door loom and replace it properly but it was a long 3or 4 hours soldering :(
