New Owner or VRS (collecting next week)

Featured Replies

Hi,

I know forums are great places to meet folk and get advise etc on the cars we own.

My Current fleet are:

Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7V8 HO running about 285bhp at the moment.

The Mrs has a Mondeo TDCI Ghia X 130.

Then got an old Trooper to use and abuse around the fields and working duties.

Recently sold my MK1 MX5 Turbo and we miss having something to play about in.

Couple of weekends ago the Mrs said she is bored of the mondeo (just after a full service, MOT and 12months Tax) and wanted something more fun to drive, so trawling the internet started, her 1st choice was a scooby but after an insurance quote ( we are both 26) and looking at the service intervals that was that. After much trawling I said what about a skoda octavia, so we agreed the octavia VRS to was to be.

Lucky for us a local garage had a MK1 VRS 2003, Estate in black 1 previous owner and 60k on the clock, Its having a full service, cambelt change and MOT ready for collection on 20th June.

Nat hasnt driven it yet, but I was very impressed and looking forward to the tuning scope again like I had in my little MX5.

Roll on next week.

Cheers

J.
