Wing Mirror Adjustment control

Featured Replies

A slight bit of annoyance but nothing too major. Just thought I'd ask if anyone else had had this??

Basically I went to adjust my mirrors on Sunday night and as I turned the knob, the whole fitting went inside the door! Managed to scoop it back out with a finger but I thought this was a bit stupid.

I'll be calling the dealer to get it fixed but It's nothing major.

It's probably not been fitted properly in the factory, one of those things I guess Frobb. My new vRS has a loose handbrake cover which its had from brand new. My dash binacle rattles like a squeeky toy too, its still not covered 400 miles.

After having had the car a few weeks whilst I'm not going to deny its well built I honestly do not think its any better put together than a VW; think that goes for any Skoda. Ultimately though it was a very cheap car for what it is so not going to slate it one bit :-)

I was hoping the wing adjustment would follow the same rule as the door handles. Look flimsy, yet actually quite sturdy. Whenever I used the mirror heaters, I was always worried I'd twist it off.

Fair play to you for not getting to upset about it though. Dealer should fix it no problems I would have thought

Ah i'm not bothered at all, man. **** happens eh! It's just a small thing and at the end of the day, the rest of the car is fine :)
