Octy vRS hesitation

Featured Replies

Have had a slight hesitation on part throttle since being revo'd 8000 miles ago. Thought I had cured it by using BP Ultimate and a throttle body reset but think that was just coincidence with the weather. Spoke to Revo Kev a couple of weeks ago (thanks for all your help Kev) and data logged the car whilst driving. The car was behaving itself, only hesitating very slightly so Kev fitted a 4 bar FPR and remapped ECU to 4 bar programme. That made a huge difference, drivability much better and now she flies.

Noticed that the temperature on this particular day was around 8 deg C. Went out in the car the next day and temperature was around 3 deg C, felt the hesitation around 2000 revs as you are driving through it and between 3000-4000 revs on part throttle. Haven't had a warm day since but car seems noticably better as the ambient temperature increases, even after a long journey on a cold day it still hesitates. Has anybody else come across this? Maybe a sensor somewhere, what do you think  .

Cheers

Adam
