Hi All

Wow..this site seems very active and certainly helpful. One year ago I bought a Skoda for the first time and it has just failed its road worthy test due to the test centre being unable to do an emission test on it. The tester said the test for emmissions involved having to run the motor at a certain constant rpm for 4 minutes and my car would not hold a constant rpm. It would continue to rise in rpm and would not hold a set rpm. They said it would need a diagnostic test to see why this is so. It is a 1.6 petrol Octavia 2003 model. Hope someone has a suggestion as to what the problem is.
