I have been looking a while for places in sheffield to do this and had a range of quotes. Decided to look it up again as i now use motorway regularly for job and found that apparently its easy to fit stalk yourself and now with a vag com cable and laptop with ross tech software you can do it yourself. Has anyone actually done this and does it work?

Not technically difficult, but faffy and time consuming.

A fair few on here have done it. I decided to pay Shark Performance to fit mine as I didn't fancy my chances.

Dealers can retrofit this too, and it might be less expensive than you think for them to do it.

Done god knows how many Fabias now, Inc one today at GTI International, stalk wiring loom and coding required.
