Connects2 or Dension iPod adaptor?

Featured Replies

Has anyone used the Connects2 iPod adaptor with the Symphony head unit?

They are cheaper than the Dension Gateway 100 and seem to offer similar functionality, but the Connects2 website seems to suggest that it will not charge the iPod and you need a separate converter to make it do this. I don't have the cost for the extra converter, but obviously it closes the gap in prices to the Dension unit which I believe does charge the iPod.

I have a connects2 with the symphony head unit. It plugs in the CD changer port. You can change the tracks with the head unit or the ipod and also skip through 6 play lists. You can also control your ipod at the same time and it charges it. I have no complaints and I cant see a Dension being any better as you cant display the track names anyway.

Thanks Ollie. That's what I wanted to hear

Just out of interest, which iPod do you have?

Mine is a 3rd Gen Nano.
