How have you mounted your splitter? Seen some far back and some right to the edge of the bumper. Post some pics too if you can.

Yeah mine is mounted like that. Seen some which sit farther back

here's mine - was a bugger to fit as I had to do it on my own - like it now but I fitted it differently to others towards the wheels as mine still stands out from the bumper (not tucked underneath)

Why?? Lol cold air feeds? Ps how would Velcro work to stick the splitter on?

Velkro? What ya on about? Lol max how is your different? Looks like how I mounted mine

Could it be mounted with Velcro? Lol

Mine sticks out a little bit more than most , personally think it looks better that way, otherwise it would be tucked up underneath and wouldnt be noticeable.

When fitting did ya have to grind down the screw heads for the two middle bits? How many screws did ya use? I used one on every clip ( bit used for mounting on a cupra) think it was about 22 in all.

i did something quite trick with mine....

removed bumper for ease then instead of cutting the 2 middle sections i made 2 slots in the underside of the bumper with the aid of a heat gun and sharp stanley blade for the splitter to clip into just like it does on the leon cupra r

then just some massive self tappers and trimmed to fit, looked bob on, probs the best i've seen

any old pics of it? i might pic one of these up even tho it doesnt look quite as good on the silver fab

That is a chuffing good idea!

I may steal it for when my current one inevitably gets ripped off...car ferry ramps are not splitter-friendly and the self tappers are starting to pull out a bit :o

Here's mine, It finishes flush and level with the little flap on the

front of the wheel arch. So it tucks in under the bumper a little more there.

I think mine sits perfect compared to some I see.

Like the first post mine sticks out more at the corners than at the front. I did it this way because the front section doesnt really line up very well with the bodywork and if sat further forward the gaps either side of the centre were more noticeable. Also doing it this way meant I didnt have to cut the splitter to make it bend.
