Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

I have an 04 Furby vRS. This morning on the way to work I took a LH turn on a roundabout. As I got half way to the exit my horn decided to announce itself to the world without my intervention. I stopped the honking by hitting the horn!

This has happened twice before, and on both occaisions it has been LH turn on roundabout.

Any one any experience of this, or any clues as to what it might be?

It sounds like a contact problem involving the horn ring - but that is a generic reply rather than one specific to the Fabia! Get your dealer to fix it under warranty.

I do quite alot with auto electrics (my trade) and Id say thats more than likely the cause.

I''ll get them to check it next time I'm passing by the garage.

Will also try washing car with cold water. Maybe this will help alleviate any further horn issues!!

Just get your map out a plan out all your routes so that you only make right hand turns

Sorry couldn't resist.

I do remeber a TV documentary where some poor soulhad lost the confidence to do right hand turns. She had to take long detours sometimes where the trip would have just taken her a few minutes if shoe could turn right.
