Was it caused by a scratch? If yes you don't have to worry it superficial, but if the rust is coming under your colour (it looks like a swollen spot) then you should take care of it.

thanks,i'll take photo tomorrow.

I found bubbles of rust under the rubber door seals on 2 doors. Perhaps you should take a look there too.

I took it to the dealer as I have a 12 year corrosion warranty, but they rejected it. Said it passed under the 3 years paint warrenty, and my car had passed 3 years with 3 mounths................

I just found a bubble just in front of the rear wheel on the sill, probaly due to a small stone or similar.

Apart from the rusty drums that virtually all new Fabis have as standard (and certainly within months), take a look at the rearmost hanging bracket for the rear silencer box. It is just a plain steel bracket that is covered totally in rust at 2 years old. Both my Fabias also had bad external rust blebs on the rear silencer box itself at 2 years although the oldest is still not leaking at 7 years (so passes its MOT) it looks a mess with the outer layers split and peeling away. A mere £220 to change at Skoda dealer.
