Standard runs 1.3 bar

Remapped upto around 1.6 bar max at peak

Not sure what that is in psi though.

1.6bar is about 24 psi :eek:

thats a lot of boost

even 1.3 bar is a lot for a standard car, i think the octavia runs about 0.5bar

I generally run at around 1 bar (that's 1013.25mb on a bog standard day at sea level) - or 14.503 psi - without the need for a turbocharger.

Mine is running at 1.6 PSi with the Jabba remap, Mike said he could only get it to 1.4 bar without the Cupra Intake.

...or 750 mmHg while we're at it. Remember kids, there's a difference between 'gauge' pressure and 'absolute' pressure...

[EDIT:] A quick furtle on Google shows that around 5-7 psig (1.3-1.6 bara) is about right for a standard turbo...

The Fabia gets away with running 1.3 bar as its got a variable geometry turbo, so the boost gradually builds up to the 1.3 in stages, not all in one go.

Octavia's tend to run around .6 to .7 bar from the factory.
