skoda octavia recall

Featured Replies

Got a recall from Alex Lawrie Liverpool re: Coil packs on Monday. Took it in on Thursday and lo and behold my beloved VRS WRC NO 80 qualified for a new pack!! 9 years old and still eligible for free new parts. Well done Skoda. Car has just clocked up 45000 miles from new!!!!

That's interesting that is. Did they contact you or did you have to call them? They normally only do it hen the car is in for servicing, and seem to be keeping quiet about it.

Do you take the car there for servicing?

No . I just got a phone call and that was that. I originally bought the car from the dealership but have had the car serviced elsewhere. I am well pleased with the service given at Alex Lawrie. They replaced 3 alloys on my missus's Fabia VRS about 18 months ago on warranty.
