Right guys I,m needing a bit of help about. I,ve noticed halfords has a 3 for 2 on alot of there car cleaning products, I was thinking about buying Meguairs Ultimate Compound and Meguiars Gold Class Liquid Car Wax but I dont know what to buy as my 3rd product. Soo what would you guy suggest ?. Or would use suggest Autoglym or something.

Regards

John

You don't mention what you are hoping to achieve with this. Looking at the products you mention I'm guessing that you have some paintwork that needs some attention. The Megs ultimate compound is marketed as stage 3 of their 3 step paint correction process. They claim it is for use on "medium/high" damaged areas of paint. Are you sure you need to go straight in with something that abrasive? Megs also do "Swirl X" (their stage 1 product) and "Scratch X 2.0" (which is stage 2 I believe). Scratch X is available in Halfords (I bought some last week) but I don't remember seeing Swirl X in my local branch (other forum members may correct me on that). Why not purchase some of the less abrasive stuff as well so you can start off gently?

Some people rave about the G3 range of products for paint correction work. You could look into those as Halfords stock them also.

Or just do what I did and stock up on the good old Zymol shampoo :D

Autoglym Super Resin Polish

Megs Gold Class

Some kind of wax

just read O.B-B's post

yes the G3 range is excellent as long as you're use a machine, without a machine its very hard work.
