Hi all, Another new member joining up. I'm hoping to purchase an Octavia Series 1 tomorrow. Have test driven it and only problem that I can see so far is wind noise. Been through 30 pages of the Octavia forum so far but couldn't find any reference so off to the search engine right now. Will update and pots photos if the deal goes through.

Thanks for the welcomes.

The deal went through.

Following day I had the car (1.8T) chipped - goes very well now even though stock it was quick.

Had a problem with a coil-pack on number 1 cylinder but this (and the others) changed.

Only problem now is a squeak from somewhere around the belts area.

I believe that the car was on the forecourt since April so its been standing for a while.

Great car with a nice interior.
