I have purchased a VAGCOM kit from RossTech.

I am trying to install my CC - the stalk and everything is fitted.

I am trying to copy the coding from here which I presume is correct?

However, on the Engine bit I get to this and am now stuck:

Can anyone shed some light on where to go next? The Coding=11 box is greyed out.

I also wanted to turn on anti hijack, but cant see how to get to that option?

A couple of other bits - I have enabled the horn (siren) when locking with the fob, however there is no sound. Do I need to activate / turn the siren on or volume up somehow too?

Also is it possible to code the instruments / cluster lights to be on constantly when the ignition is on?

Check the fault code in #46, looks like your alarm horn/sounder is bad. Replace it and you should be fine. As for the constant illumination of the dash, there is no such setting that can be done here - sorry.

Is the sounder the same as the horn? If so, the actual horn works fine.

Alarm Horn/Sounder (H12) is different from the normal (honk) Horn (H).

thanks will have to try and find its' location and part number!

it lives under the o/s/f wheel arch at the back.

cheers - any idea on a part number and price? Presume it is a straightforward swap?
