Water in doors

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Not sure if this happens on anyone else car but if it has been raining over night when I open the door in the morning water starts pouring from the door! Is this fault I have got it happens on both drivers and passengers door.

Thanks

It's normal afaik, mine does it anyway.

Mine does it too, can't be that good for the door especially if the car stands for a while.

Yep, my Scout does it from what appears to be a purpose made drain hole towards the front of the bottom edge of all 4 doors. If I dont open the passenger doors then it leaves wet trails down the drive when I set off. To be fair to Skoda my wife's Merc also does this.
