hi first timer i need some help i have just changed my maf on my 1.9tdi 55 plate superb but it still not working do you get duff new ones this was a bosh have checked wirering canot find any short or breaks please help thanks

Hi

May be worth cancelling fault codes , as the engine will adapt to the faults stored

If you dont have a fault code reader , canceller

Then try dissconnecting the battery for a while

But make sure you have the radio code

When reconnected , just turn the ignition until you get the lights on and wait til all the clicking has finnished , then try it

If that does not work , then get the codes read

Take it from there

As the MAF`s are exchange , you can get the odd and I mean odd one that is faulty , but I would not bank on it
