LUXOBARGE yes please

Featured Replies

The list is endless.Audi A8,tasty. Big jags( and the little one) , 7 series BMW etc etc

There are loads of these cars out there second hand for less than the price of a basic fabia.Imagine the kit on a 3.7 Audi A8 sport tiptronic :D

Values seem to absolutely plummet on these sort of huge cars.I know you have to consider running costs but it is a real tempter.

Someone mentioned the mystical Phaeton on another thread. If one of those found it's way onto the second hand market going for a song I wouldn't say no.

Have you been tempted by an older but indestuctible(forget the jag) bruiser

Yes, Audi S8 :D and the BMW 850

All of the above... and at the ripe old age of 24!

Really fancied an A8 (to stick with the VAG stable), or an S-plate 7 series (for the whole professional businessman/pimp/gangster look)

All very tempting - apart from the high running costs and ridiculous insurance :o

Friend of mine used to own an 850, he always said that petrol stations were only *just* close enough to each other to use it...

A guy at work has either the 850 or 750 and tells me it has a 90l tank! Apparently he's collecting quite a few Clubcard points these days ;)

I ran a Range rover VogueSE for a couple of years, 3.9 V8...mmm...I miss that car...except the fuel bills,

A word of caution... Older luxobarges are cheap for a reason - they cost many many

A mate of mine secured a very tasty S8 for peanuts (compared to new price)

"It passes everything but the petrol station."

Very true Dave, which is why I couldn't buy one - unless it was a toy. In which case I'd buy a Caterfield and be done with it :D
