I have a Greenline estate that has done just over 1000 miles. The ESP light & engine management light came on & the engine cut out, I coasted into a bus stop & restarted the engine, no warning lights. I pulled away & got into 2nd gear & the lights came back on & the engine cut out. The same thing happened a third time & I managed to coast onto a garage forecourt.

The RAC came out via Skoda Assist, & his diagnostics showed no faults. He ran the engine & was prodding around the fuse box with his multimeter. He found nothing & replaced the fuse box lid & the engine cut out. He took the lid back off & restarted & it cut out again when the cover as locked down. I drove home, with RAC following, minus fuse box lid with no trouble.

Took it to the dealers yesterday & they couldn't find any faults recorded, they put the fuse box lid back on & it has been OK. They have booked it in for a week on Monday for a thorough going over.

Any ideas, simular experiences?

Just an up date incase someone else suffers at some time, it happened again a couple of days later & I had it towed into the dealers. They still coundn't find any faults on the ECU, but they did find a loose connection block on the ECU. Hopefully this was the culprit.
