Skoda Octavia sound system, Zenec and Columbus?

Featured Replies

Hi everybody,

I have a 08 Skoda Octavia vRS. Factory released 19.Nov.2007. Delivery date 11.01.2008 year.

I tried to install ZENEC today. It was working but no sound. Didn't tried it again. I contacted with ZENEC factory and asked what's the problem and they said : because my car has a digital sound system 12 speakers, digitalequalizer and that's the reason why don't operate. I read the German forums with Google Language Translation :giggle: and there people said there is possible to get ZENEC to work, only have to change some wires connections . Unfortunately don't know exactly..it was kinda hard to read. :|

The question is how is possible to get to work ZENEC, maxidot and clima monitoring?

If ZENEC installation fails I'm thinking to go with Columbus.

Well I tried it today as well. After the reset it worked fine. Question is how to operate that Columbus will show parking sensor and clima monitoring?

I read the forums before and know that don't have to the change the gateway. Before I had a 06 Skoda Octavia vRS and I went everything thru to get Columbus to work.

My technical English isn't the best, and I hope you understand me and you can give me some advice.
