Newbie With a problem

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm a newbie and I have an Octavia vRS diesel, as my normal car. And usual use pistonheads for my car related questions, because they usually related to my other car, a TVR.

Unfortuately, my very reliable Skoda is now has a problem, so I thought I'd enlist your expertise.

The Skoda IS failing to start, turning over etc but not firing. I was thinking that it may be a blocked fuel filter, after checking the fuses, please can somebody tell me where exactly the fuel is and maybe offer a picture of what it look like.

Any help/advice will be greatfully received.

Thanks

I think I've found it. The the large canister near the right headlight with 4 pipes going into it.

Next question anybody know how/if it can be taken apart and cleaned?
