Ok, so I want to colour code my silver vrs what are the best/cheapest options?

door handle:

remove and paint or buy similar ones like golf etc and fit

side strips:

remove and paint or paint as is

Just doing it on my silver fabia bar the door handles, I took off the side stripes but the paint behind was messed so it's going to the paint shop, but getting the Mirrors all sprayed silver, I would imagine painting the rub strips wouldn't be any cheaper than pulling them off plus your paint might be fine behind the strips.

I bought some golf mk4 door mouldings for pennies (mates rates etc) and sprayed them and door handles all in for under £30 and that's including buying a toffee wheel to get the nasty residue off from door mouldings.

Handles are quite easy to remove also. You don't have to remove the door cards.
