Rubbing noise?????

Featured Replies

After all this glorious snow over the last few days, i had a wee bit of fun in a local car park for five miutes with the handbrake, no bumps or anything.

But now when im driving and i turn the steering wheel ever so slightly to the right i hear a rubbing rubber noise, like you're driving on a flat tyre on a bicycle, this happens from any right turn of the wheel, from 5 degrees clockwise to full lock, seems to be coming from front right wheels and sounds a little louder when brakes are applied.

Any ideas? i will get under it this weekend for a nosey

Possibly dislodged the wheel arch liner.

Might also be worth checking you havn't picked up any debris in between the brakes and the backing.
