Hi everyone, I'm new to a Briskoda, and in fact new to Skoda. Just sold my trusty 122000 mile A6 Avant and bought a 56 plate, 32000 mile Silver Fabia VRS, a real change for me, but I'm loving it. Wanted something smaller, but with the ability to carry some fairly big loads (I deal in Historic Motor Racing Parts), but something that's quick economical,and cheaper on the road tax. So far I'm loving it.

Already changed the EGR gasket to a 9mm one opened out to 11mm, (yes it is a BLT engine and did stutter), and the dogbone mount, which was past it's best.

I find the mpg incredible. I get the same miles per 45 ltr tank as I did in the Audi with an 80 ltr !

The only thing I may change it for would be a lowish mileage Octavia VRS tdi Estate.

As my username suggests I have a couple of other toys, a '73 911 RS Lightweight Replica which I built for myself 3 years ago, and have just aquired a very good Alfa Giulia Coupe, which I'm gradually turning into a GTA Rep.

Congratulations on this Forum guys, I've learnt a lot about these VRS 's in a couple of weeks, some top-notch stuff here !
