evening all. looking to install either a usb socket or a multi socket with usb in the glove box as the current location is absolutly in the most stupid location. tried to remove the cigerette lighter and cant seem to figure out how to extract it without using excessve force. want to get to the cables supplying it so i can replace it with a mirco switch and then reroute a suitable cable to the glove box and install something in the glove box to power the sat nav and i only have a foot or so of cable going to it and i charge the phone as well. any help would be appreciated. also does anyone know/recommend someone in the south wales area who can do some VCDS coding for me as the double click to unlock is starting to get on my t**ts. thanks for your help

Hi i installed a jack to jack cable from under the center console to the jack in socket (AUX) next to lighter socket and routed to the cubby hole on drivers side now i plug my ipod in there no wire running from hand brake. If you take the cover out of the cup holder in the back centre console it looks like plastic its no its rubber.There is a screw undo this then in the front there are more on either side of the radio underneath. the centre console should lift enough to get your hand in.Go to your skoda dealer they will do the central locking for you my dealer done this free.
