In February I part exchanged my 2007 Octavia Elegance 2.0 fsi for an 18 month old FL 2.0 TDI with 14,000 miles on the clock. (OK it was ex Europcar but so far no probs and I am very pleased with the car).

My first Octavia was a factory build and I had specced various extras including Light Assist. That feature was not on my new car and was something I had found useful.

I found an inependent VWAudi specialist in Chelmsford who were prepared to undertake this modification for me. They were very helpful. There was a long delay as the switch was on back order but that was not their fault. The part arrived and they have done the job today and it all works! They provided me with a loan car and with the bill a VAS print out.
