TOOK MY 07 OCTAVIA TO THE GARAGE TO HAVE THE CAM BELT ECT DONE AND ASKED THEM TO TURN ON TOW BAR ELECTRICS

when i picked the car up they said they were unable to turn on the tow bar electrics with there vag . com,

haS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS PROBBLEM :'( :'(

Nope, I have personally coded two Yeti's perfectly in as many weeks

The garage is probably not doing it right.

There have been several Yeti owners who have had problems with the dealer codings either being done wrongly or incomplete. It seems as if some of them can't be bothered to follow the instructions as written by Skoda! Thankfully mine did it correctly.

on a 2007 octavia the tow bar electrics do not need codeing to ecu :thumbup:

Infotainment system switches itself on

Hi, It happened twice now that I walked past my parked and locked Mk IV Octavia and I noticed that the infotainment system was on and the radio playing. Anyone had this before? Both times it was on a sunny day, so quite warm inside the car. Is there any way so that the infotainment system can only be switched on with a key present? Car is from Sep 2020 with 1941 software version. Thanks, Peter

So had both rear control arms replaced as the bolt was seized so I couldnt get the tracking done..now the tracking place say they can't get the camber inside spec because there is no adjustment for that and it will be OK as toe is good now.. Have attached the results.. Is the camber adjustment not this bolt in the pic..(which stands a chance is seized aswell)
