I picked up the Favorit Estate last night, and took it straight home for an oil and filter change. I did the coolant while I was at it, and the gearbox will get some fresh EP80w90 (is this grade ok?, I have a gallon in the garage) tonight. What a joy to work on a simple car! It drives great, people seem to give me a wide berth as though some sort of strange space ship has landed in front of them! I'm made up with this car, and I can see myself becoming very attached to it. I've attached a couple of pics (hopefully) during last night's service session, and the autotrader ad.

You need to use 75/90 gear oil in the skoda gearboxes.

Pleased you're happy with it! I have a 2000 felicia estate...I do notice how dated it looks, everybody seems to be driving somethign newer thesedays? maybe due scrappage scheme? But I absolutely love my old felicia

I love the felly, but I do think the Fav looks less dated

I have seen 2 Favorits today, both M reg'd. One a GLXIE, and thwe other a Flairline LXIE. Rare ti see one on the road round here, let alone 2! See plenty of Fellys though. Seem to be hundreds of the blighters round here, including several 'rare' Magic editions.
